We ever strive to benefit those who are seeking a deeper understanding of their personal histories and the origins of their dis - ease whether in the form of depressions, anxieties, conduct disorders, the self-medicating with substances, sex, work, eating disorders, etc. Paramount is that our clinical
relationships are based upon trust, and respecting the dignity and worth of all people, and promoting and safe-guarding the welfare and rights of our patients including their right to privacy, confidentiality, and self-determination. We embrace cultural, individual, and role differences, including those based on age, gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, language, and socio-economic status, and ever consider these factors when working with members of these groups.
